My Hopes for Sonic IDW

I'm both excited and anxious for the IDW comics. Excited to see what new story possibilities can come from this. But anxious because from what I've seen, IDW comics usually have a scratchy drawing style so it might take some time to get used to it, especially since I've come to love the smooth style Archie used. Either way, I hope the people in charge of these new comics take a look at these characters for possible stories or development.
(Also I know it's kinda cheating to use groups or pairs for something like this, but it would unfair to split up each group and pair to fill up spots)

#1: Lumina and Void
- More than any other characters, I really hope these two find a way to make it into the comics. These two little gems (no pun intended) are so obscure that they didn't even have a chance to appear in the Archie series outside of a tie-in story a LONG time ago and a small cameo of Void in prison. Heck, it was never really clear whether they were off limits like Mephiles or not, that's how little people usually notice them! They had an interesting set up in Shuffle, and I would love to see what they would do with these characters if they're allowed to go more in depth with them. You could go in many directions with their development, and all of them can be interesting if they do it right!

#2: Cream the Rabbit
- It would be nice to see Cream develop as a hero. We've seen her being capable of being one, but not too many instances where she can grow from it. There were a few occasions in the Archie Comics, but it would be interesting to see how she would fair if she was in a story where she was the main hero and had to solve the problem on her own.

#3: Infinite
- I know we don't know anything about him at the time I posted this image, but when it comes to the comics he could have a chance to interact with a much wider cast of characters. Maybe even have other past villains/antagonists join Eggman's army in a Forces adaptation outside of the four all-stars that are chosen in the game.

#4: Mephiles the Dark
- I hope the band to use him is lifted for the IDW comics, or at least to some degree. Again, I'm curious as to how he could interact with a bigger amount of characters, maybe even with Mephiles ('cause there's been A LOT of stuff on that online lol).

#5: The Witchcarters
- I hope the IDW comics take a look at these characters again, because their developments were shot-lived due to Archie's cancelation. Questions like "who were they before they were brainwashed" or "if they were finally freed from it, where would they go" are sadly never even touched upon because of this, so maybe IDW can try to continue that story plot if possible.

#6: The Hooligans
- These guys were hilarious in both the post and pre-genesis waves, and I would love to see them again in IDW. Their dysfunctional chemistry is great and it would be really sad to see these personalities of these characters completely disappear.

#7: Mighty and Ray
- If they do bring these characters back, I am really curious as to what kind of personalities they would go with. Would they be more like their pre-genesis wave personas, their post-genesis wave personas, or would they create brand new ones for the new continuity.

#8: Honey the Cat
- Similar to Mighty and Ray, I wonder if they would continue with using her Archie identity or make a new one if they add her to the comics. And if they do make a new one, how different would she be? Characters like Honey have the unique trait that they were never used from the Dreamcast ear or onward, so their personalities can be more flexible to work with if they are used in the comics.

#9/10: Chaos/Chip
- Not much to say on these two aside from a general curiosity as to what the writers might have them do in the new comic's continuity.
